Terri McClatchie Earth Art
My art is driven by a passion for creating which springs from both soul and spirit. My art is an adventure in color and chemistry. Most of the time, I feel like a combination of creative genius and mad scientist. The wonderful thing about my way of painting is that every piece is unique. The finished product is multi-dimensional and complex, with anywhere from three to fifty-three layers of paint and texture.
I began painting at age nine. I've had extensive training both in the U.S. and Italy. In Italy, I studied the impressionistic techniques of the old masters. I continue to expand my training while developing new techniques of my own.
