UK illustrator and emerging artist Michael Garton (MooMike!) has been thoroughly determined from a very early age to succeed in his dream job as an illustrator / professional artist and designer. He has worked extensively in a vast amount of different media and styles, and has always enjoyed the different aspects of each - he tried them all together and discovered a uniquely textured style that is evident in a wide array of MooMike’s illustrations and artworks.
Mike Garton achieved a BA (Honours) in illustration for children's publishing, writing and illustrating original children's books as well as branching out into general, magazine, editorial, entertainment and fashion illustration as part of his natural progression into the wider creative community.
Extremely flexible as an illustrator and designer, Mike is able to work with a variety of different techniques and media to suit any brief or creative requirements. Specialist areas include book illustrations, children's books, book jackets / book cover art and spot illustrations, along with fashion illustration, magazine covers and any type of logo illustration / logo design.

An illustration to a limerick about a man who is surprised to discover a varity of birds are nesting in his beard. I particularly enjoyed the character creation for this work.
