Alexandru is a Romanian young printmaker who is now specializing in linoleum engravings.
"I keep a dominant and central place in my heart for this new form of printmaking,perhaps
among other reasons, due to the considerable physical element involved in this technique.
In other forms of graphic art the paper serves merely as a support for pigment making up
an image , but in linoleum engraving the paper becomes an integral part of the image."
