I have been working with mosaic and stained glass for about five years. My mosaics are contemporary, functional works of art. I am driven by the colours and textures that mosaic allows, the patterns and designs are limitless, as are the surfaces in which can be used. I am inspired by my love of the natural world and it has a great influence on my art. I am motivated to create by the beauty that surrounds me in the mountains, ocean, and forests of British Columbia. I design and produce artworks made entirely with stained glass. My pieces are constructed using hundreds of hand cut pieces of glass that are then placed within my design, then grouted.
