Award winning artist Richard Ozanne has exhibited his artwork in prestigious galleries across the United States, and New York City, Europe as well as Internationally in solo and group exhibits most recently in 2008 at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Torino Italy. During his lifetime he has received many awards and nominations to some of the highest accolaides in the world today. Most recently he returned from Italy where he received an induction into the "Ordine della Michelangelo Buanarotti:, as well as a nomination to knighthood. Ozanne has traveled to over 75 countries around the world painting and researching art. Some of the lands he has researched for his own work includes: Tibet (He received an invitation and visited Lhasa Tibet in 1985 by special permission of the Chinese Government Ministry of Culture), Southeast Asia, India, Burma, Nepal, Kashmir, Andaman Islands, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and the Soloman Islands to mention a few. In 1980 he was invited to visit the former Soviet Union by their Ministry of Culture. During his tour he met and painted late classical composer Dimitri Kabalevsky)

Currently he is exhibiting, teaching, and traveling across the United States on a transcontinental tour of his work to bring some of his talents to his native country. He has been involved in cultural development programs that bolster community development in the arts. Most recently this has included childrens art programs and encouraging cultural development.

Mr. Ozanne has a dynamic background in the visual arts. He has a honorary Phd in Arts and Humanities, with special research in Europe, MFA Masters of Fine Arts from Arizona State University and his BFA from the University of Arizona as well as an intensive 4 year program of advanced study at the Art Students League of New York and Columbia University Graduate School of Art where he progressed towards graduate study for his Masters.

Ozanne in his diverse education has also persued post-graduate studies towards the doctorate in Religious Studies, Ontology and Metaphysics. He has earned numerous certificates towards his endeavor of life long learning and promotes education for all. In addition to his studies in art and forte as a creative visual artist, Mr. Ozanne has also a strong background in the field of classical music as a pianist. (some of his favorite composers are Kabalevsky, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Scriabin as well as many others) He has played concerts in venues internationaly and persues this as an added venue towards integration in his visual work. His diverse background has caught the attention of biographical and arts circles in Europe as well as the United States, as one of the leading visual artists and cultural figures of today.
