Cawood's highly skilled manipulation of steel allows him to explore the dictomies and discover the graces than can co-exsist between material, subject and/or form. His ideas of transformation and definition are quite evident through the entire body of his work. His work is included in private, corporate, and public collections nationwide. He indulges in both fine art sculpture as well as functional sculpture. He has exhibited in galleries in New York, Baltimore, Washington DC, Miami and New Orleans among others. He also accepts selected private commissions.
