The project PHILO derives from Ohio bands including: Cringe, L6t, Mobis, Mahoney, and Tsybil. Without what would be considered a fixed ideology, PHILO instead experiments in as many different genres as possible blending them as seen fit. Beaten down by the repetition evident in leading artists of todays industry, blending all influences from popular to underground music creating the sound of PHILO.Philo was formed by Corbin Thomas (Mahoney, Cringe) , Shawn Huff ( Formerly of Mahoney and L6t. and Ryan Butcher (formerly of Cringe) The project has recently added the guitar work of Chris Yotive ( formerly of Tsybil and Mobis).
