Michael Hull
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/Music at UNC-Wilmington. Later, I finished a Master's Degree in Music Performance at Illinois State University. I have performed in the masterclasses of some of the world's most celebrated guitarists, including Christopher Parkening, Scott Tennant, Martha Masters and Jason Vieaux. Currently, I serve on the faculty of Bradley university and Illinois Central College. My training and studies are primarily in the classical guitar style. However, I offer a varity of ensembles, available to perform throughout the United States and perhaps abroad, including a jazz guitar duo, guitar and violin/viola and I also perform extensively as a soloist. I am available to play concerts, weddings and a variety of social events and festivals. I have performed at such prestigious institutions as Illinois Wesleyan University, Eureka College, Roosevelt University and Foelinger Great Hall at the Krannert Center (University of Illinois). In 1997, I was privileged to perform in the former Soviet Republic of Belarus, where I was also involved in teaching English as a second language and humanitarian aid.
What's on my mind...
