Steve Farr is an emerging and, for the most part, self-taught artist whose unique style has set him apart from others. He has been drawing and painting since the age of five. Steve's propensity to manipulate colors as well as desire to be different could be seen as a child. Where most children would use a coloring book to color, Steve saw it as an opportunity to not only create texture and patterns, but to take what was there and create his own designs. Steve doesn't like "labels" because he feels they create boundaries and his everychanging styles won't allow that. Try and categorize him as a landscape artist, then he'll change into his abstract mode. You could call him a fantasy artist, but then he'll produce "jaw-dropping" surrealistic paintings. One of Steve's favorite quotes is "always keep'em guessing"......"when they're expecting me to come though the front door, I'll always come through the side door!"
