Alvaro Arrosamena is a Latin American multimedia artist born in Montevideo, Uruguay, actually based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The works presented in his galleries are the result of his last years experiments including paintings, installations, performances and multimedia, which combing spiritual and sociopolitical subjects analyzing social, religious and politic influences and taboos in western society, the subversive, the minorities, subcultures, forbidden spirituality and the occult. Arrosamena has presented several Art performances, Public performances and Rituals in various locations and spaces in Sweden, Thailand, Laos and Uruguay. The artist sees the performance like the art nexus for the fluid communication between the magic moment of creation and individuals of the society.
