Sue Cowan Profile

I am a self-taught artist who paints mainly in acrylics, and occasionally in oils. From my home studio, I produce paintings that express my intense interest in color and light. My artwork has given me contentment and joy since retiring from accounting. I believe I have inherited a natural talent from my mother and my great-uncle Adolphus Burton who was a college art teacher and oil painter in British Columbia.

I hope one day to become recognized as a passionate, credible artist. I want people to just enjoy my paintings and not look beyond for deeper meanings that just aren't there.
