I am a London-based Italian artist born in Bologna. My work encompasses the use of a wide range of media, including photography, video-making and short-film realizations. Moreover, I am inspired from a variety of concepts, such as science fiction, pop culture, fantasy, illustration and surrealism. My preferred technique is the one of collage. Mixing different themes and combining different ideas into one single whole allows me to extract elements from their traditional contexts and relocate them into a new context, creating a novel visual language. Also, my art is a complete expression of my imagination and thus this allows me to liberate myself from societal constraints and to create new visual experiences, full of symbolism and underlying meanings. My major projects are Black in Black, Ma’am, Blind Eyes, Levels, and Woodlands. Also, I have participated in a number of art fairs including the AAF Contemporary New York, the London Art Fair, the Glasgow Art Fair, the Bridge Art Fair and Art Verona as well as in several group exhibitions such as Not so private, In Contro, Faces, Flowers and Digital Art. |  |  |
