Broadmoor Poppy

Flowers have been my favorite subject of painting for over thirty years. Many of the murals I paint have flowers somewhere and I love painting them in watercolor and acrylic as well. Adding birds, bugs and a little bee add a bit of whimsy to my paintings. Each of my murals include a bumble bee as a reminder to me as to how blessed I am to be following my dreams.

One of the murals I created for the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado has a cluster of poppies and this is one of those poppies that I recreated in watercolor.
