What are organization levels and which should I choose?
On this site, your Art Types are your classification for both organization level and the types of arts you deal with. You may choose one and only one Organization Level (from individuals to Galleries) but you may choose any number of options in Areas of Expertise.

You can only choose one organization level. Different organization levels have different requirements. For example, Individuals and Teachers are not permitted to have a company name; most non-individual accounts require a company name, telephone number and street address, as well as requiring your address and telephone number to be listed on the public account profile.
Individual: If you are making this account to show off your own artwork, writing or events, you should choose individual. Individuals may not enter a company name; individuals are not required to enter telephone number or street address into the system.
Teacher: If you are making this account to show off your own artwork, writing or events, and you are a teacher, you should choose teacher. Teachers might also use this site to give project ideas/tips to their students. Teachers may not enter a company name; teachers are not required to enter telephone number or street address into the system.
Band: Choose this option if the account profile represents a band that you are part of. You will be listed in the band directory and get the band icon until you have created your own display icon. Bands must enter their band name in the company field; bands are not required to enter their street address or telephone number. Bands may only select "Music" from the Areas of Expertise list.
School: This organization level is for traditional and online schools of all levels (private schools, colleges, etc) that offer arts/music education courses. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Schools are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the school. Choose this account type only if you have permission from the school to add the school?s details to this site.
Gallery: Galleries are organizations that are commissioned to display the creative work of other artists. Choose this account type if you run a gallery or are authorized to represent a gallery. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Galleries are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the gallery.
Museum: Museums are organizations that place on display various collections of artistic production. Museums are generally open to the public. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Museums are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the museum.
Theatre: Theatres present theatrical works to the public, either cinematic (movies) or dramatic (plays and musicals). This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Theatres are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the theatre.
Venue: Venues are companies that rent out their space for events such as concerts and expositions. This type is appropriate for clubs, concert halls, convention centers and the like. This field requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Venues are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the venue.
Ad Agency: Choose this option if your organization produces advertising copy and related creative promotional material. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Ad Agencies are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the agency.
Printer: Printers are companies that print with printing presses and digital presses. These companies are generally resources for other members on the site. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Printers are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the printer.
Art Supplier: Art Suppliers are companies that sell art/music supplies and/or original artwork, reprints, music, etc. Examples are hobby stores, art stores and arts wholesalers. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Art Suppliers are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the supplier.
Arts Directory: Arts directories are generally online websites that list arts organizations and/or artists. This type requires a company name, but does not require street address, telephone number or displaying contact information.
Arts Resource: Arts Resource sites offer miscellaneous arts/music information, services and other resources. This type requires a company name, street address and telephone number. Arts Resource are required to display their contact information on their profile, which will include a map to the company.

Organization Level
Your organization level alerts visitors to whether you are an individual such as an artist or teacher, or if the profile they are viewing belongs to a group such as a band, or a larger entity such as an ad agency, gallery or museum.You can only choose one organization level.
