The birth of Dionysus

I was born in the neighbourhood of the Dolphin.
while my father- the Eagle - was gliding
above the waters of Eridani,
the river of the fever.
I wish I were a bird
to be able to fly
in between the shades of a sunset.
I was born in the neighbourhood of a Dolphin.
No.
I was born near a sunflower.
I wore wings made by beeswax
and feathers
-residues from the wings of the great dead Eagle-
I flew against the breath of the star,
the anger of the Sun.
Behold,
I am born here
in the neighbourhood of the Dolphin.
