Lorelei : Fire

In the ancient world Lorelei (sirens) would sing and distract the sailors of a boat. The sailors would forget to man the rigging and the ship would hit rocks and sink. The lorelei would then eat the shipwrecked sailors.

The same illistration can apply to modren life to descibe the Urgent!! but unimportant "Lorelei Songs" which distract us from what our minds need to be focused upon.
