Scream

Scream

By David Schirtzinger

Posted on April 7th, 2006

Deep within the shadows and silence
I lay waiting scared and full of despair
Desolation creeping through my soul
Like unto spiders in a pretty girls hair
No sound at all from me for now
I lay quiet as an emaciated corpse
Not moving, not even breathing
My own memories deranged and warped
Keeping to myself till its time
For all to hear my call in their dream
For now I rise and take a breath
And I let loose until you can hear me scream
