Andre' wins Best of Show at SKB Foundation Art Show

Carol Andre' was recently awarded the Best of Show award for her sculpture of a golden crowned kinglet at the Susan K. Black foundation's 5th annual art show and workshop. It is an honor in itself just to attend the workshop to study under artists of such renown such as John Seery-Lester, Andrew Denman, and others. Andre' also was awarded first place for her scratch art piece of a wolf. The workshop runs for 5 days, with approximately 130 artists attending. The show runs simultaneously with the workshop. Andre' is a member of WNAG, as were several other attendees so it was an enjoyable social event as well as a learning experience.
