Acquiring SSL

We have decided it is time to add SSL (Secure Socker Layer) to our site. By adding an SSL Security Certificate, we are bolstering security on the site that will make the Artistic Network the most secure website for artists. While we have already got an extremely secure system by using Webonizer, we decided it is time to encrypt all information between our server and our members.

Because adding the SSL certificate requires us to get a new IP Address, access to our site will be limited when we update the DNS records. As such, the site will not appear for some members/visitors for up to 72 hours--though most people should experience an outtage no longer than 12-24 hours.

We have not yet got the specific time of the transition.
