For over twenty years I have made, by hand, jars that I call Spirit Keepers. The lids are made of woven clay. The surface is naturally "painted" with the direct effects of the fire by burning combustible materials and minerals with the pot in a special kiln up to 1600F.

Over time people have come to find a use for these as urns for cremation ashes. It honors me and my work to find this use.

I strive to make pieces that comfort, that have the uniqueness that will honor a passed family member or pet.

You may find these at http://spiritkeeper-urns.com or at www.motzkin.com, my main page.

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have
something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.
