Medusa has always been one of my favorite characters from Greek Mythology.  Through the years, many artists have depicted her as a monstrous female figure, whose long locks feature a host of slithering snakes. As the story related, her head carried a quite generous price, however it was no small feat to acquire it! That is of course until along came the heroic Perseus whom was able to slay Medusa and claim his prize.  This is my interpretation using pencil, pen & ink! She is non-traditionally beautiful, yet very deadly as she would turn anyone whom looked upon her face into stone!!
