Neon Abstraction is a new digital creative process that the American Expressionist Max R. Scharf is utilizing in his new works. Greatly influenced by the bold colors of the French Fauvists of the early 1900's you can see their influence in his work. Scharf starts by scanning into his computer one of his original paintings. He then utilizes computer software to convert the shapes, colors and space relationships of the original painting into a completely new and exciting rendering.
