Painting Marine Landscapes

Dear friends, I want to introduce to you my oil paintings of marines and marine cityscapes. I did it in different times in  2006-2007.

First, "Schooner "Freedom" was painted in the year 2006 and reperesent real existing ship from St. Augustine, Florida. This is painting on canvas 16"x20".

Second painting - "Corsica", finished in the May, 2007.

This is oil on canvas 20"x24".

The third one - "Miniature". Oil on oval canvas 9"x12".

And, finally, the last in the moment - Evening on the bay.

Oil on canvas 20"x24".

I never painted in this way yet. This is my child's dream.
I spent a lot of time with this painting, looking for the images of old ships in libraries (finally drawed by myself using some references a bit), painting water, thinking and looking on paintings of old masters.
