Thank you Mark. So little scholarship has included "Classical Realism" in its relationship other kinds of contemporary art. because most "Postmodern" scholars consider it antithetical and reactionary. My degree is MFA, meaning studio art. I invite others with PhDs (smarter than me) to address this new 21st Century art movement.

Yes. That was me during my 70s surrealist phase. What you have is a print of a drawing I did in 1974, long before my current professional career. The original drawing (and others from that time period) are framed and in storage away from my present studio. Contact me if you are interested in the original.

Hello,
I'm wondering if you did more abstract work in your youth? I ask because I have a print that I love - despite that it's very faded and so yellowed that it's light brown- called "Eyes uh Goin Home" It's signed "R. Mehling '74" and copyrighted '76 to Robt. Mehling. Just curious.
Thank you.

Thank you Cory for reading and taking the time to comment on my science fiction short story. I wrote this little parable because I disagree with those who insist that belief must hide from scientific fact. Those who seek the Truth should never fear facts. We must reconcile our love of Jesus with the realization that Quazars and australopithecines are all part of one same Universal Truth. Parables, like this one that I wrote this past spring are fictions that provide insight into this Truth. Being a mere mortal, it was hard to imagine the mind of God, but I tried my best, and I hope it conveys the intended moral message.
Thanks again -Bob Mehling

Wow! I just have to say that this has to be the most.. well it's almost beyond words. I share many of the same views and values.
Personaly I usually can't read something so long but it seemed to be so entertaining and full of information. I am glad I have found it.
I would recommend works by this author for a short film or even a full lengthed movie.
Kudos!
