Hello Veronica Forgives my boldness but seeking on the Internet a nearby relative I found me with your name and due to that the surname Milchorena is strange and rare to find it I thought that needed you to write and to know if of coincidence you are descendant of family Milchorena of Mexico or of Spain and if something can be known on your ancestros although itself that are Salvadorian but serious interesting to investigate since according to my grandfather the surname Milchorena is strange to find it out of Mexico and SpainGreetings

Veronica, thanks, I enjoyed your honesty on this website - I too suffer from(and enjoyed) hair pulling and am in the process of making a memorial sculpture for my hair - I sometimes feel a sense of loss and want to honour the sacrifice my poor old hair folicals have made over the years...I would love to see more of your artworkkeep up the good fight, regards Katherine.

Dear Veronica,My name is Jazmyn, and I too have trichotillomania. I've had it since I was about 8 or 9 years old. It seemed to go away for a while when I was in high school, but then it came back right after I graduated in 1999. I am originally from Boston, but I moved to South Beach about a year and a half ago to pursue my modeling and acting careers. Not many people know about my condition, it is way too much of an embarrasment for me. I wear wigs all the time because I pull my hair so bad that I have to shave it all off.
This morning, my bofriend(who is one of the few whom I have told) went to the store to get some cigs and he came back with a copy of the Miami New Times. He tossed it on the bed and told me that I might be interested in reading this article. First, I would like to tell you how absolutely beautiful I think you are...inside as well as outside. I sat and stared at the front page with your picture for a while and initially I was shocked to see a beautiful woman just like me with the same condition. You are definitely in my eyes one of the strongest, bravest, and intriguing woman that I have met(so to speak), and I wanted to write you and tell you how much you have inspired me. I don't know if I could ever be as brave as you, but you, sweet Veronica, have definitely given me hope for the future....and I thank you for this gift.
I can't wait to check out your exhibit!
If you can...plz write back.
Much Love
Much Light
