i'm a working artist. i work with recycled metal, concrete, and clay. my work is full of humor and i do dog art and day of the dead. i love frida kahlo and mexican folk art. my work is simple and upbeat.
Today, while I was at work, my sister stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive a 30 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
Hi Shonda, Last year, Ms. Linda Spears donated about seven of your recycled pieces to the Tempe Academy of International Studies school (formerly McKemy). The students were responsible for placing your pieces around their campus as part of a campus beautification movement strongly supported by staff, TD3, PTO, and of course, the students. They are very proud to have their campus be the new landscape of your work as these pieces also fit within a broader context of upcycling, recycling, and sustainability.
