Jan Karpisek - Curriculum Vitae born: 15th March 1981 in Jihlava, Czech Republic studies: since 1999 untill May 2005 on the faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology, studio Painting (professor Martin Mainer) since 2001 participated on 24 collective exhibitions and made 2 solo shows. Karpisek is interested in spiritual views of reality, zen and advaita meditations, erotics, being in body-mind system and reflecting this system. His bachelor and master artwork thematised Time and Time flowing. Searching the Self which is without change. His performances are usually connected to action painting.
