Gimena Ferrari was born the 6 of April of 1978 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. From early age she showed a great ability for the drawing, expressing itself in each corner of her notebooks of study, populating sheets and margins with sinister dragons, fantastic animals and beings... Since she was a child always looked for the contact with the animals and thanks to the ecuestrian sports she familiarizes with the one that would become her personal t������³tem: the horse. Secretly enchanted by the nobility and strenght of this beautiful being she starts drawing its figure in each possible corner. In 1999 she enters the National Academy of Fine Art Prilidiano Pueyrredon to study arts and obtains the titlle of professor of painting in november of 2003. In the painting of this young artist we will find a mixture of strenght and symbolism, of intense colors and great espirituality. To contemplate her work is to unravel a dream, we will discover diverse styles there, from classic animal portrait to fantastic illustration, from traditional techniques to digital art. There is no doubt that myth and love for nature are the horses that guide the carriage of this young artist, whose intention always has been to create a figurative and literary art where the observer can invent his own history from the one represented.
