Stephan Earl

I was formally introduced to photography in 1991 when I enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves as a 46Q or Photojournalist. I spent much of the next six years traveling around the country and around the world shooting photojournalism styled photographs for the military, as well as fine art and fashion photography. In 1997 while in Bosnia under Operation Joint Guard, I learned Adobe Photoshopâ„¢ and began to explore Photoshop's creative possibilities, and in May 1999 I created "Sunflower" my first Digital Photographic Art piece. Besides my camera and Photoshopâ„¢, I also use 3D rendering software, and Corel Painterâ„¢ with a pressure-sensitive tablet with stylus for complete control over painterly brush strokes.

What's on my mind...
