My inspiration comes from many sources. They come from dreams (or sometimes nightmares!) nature, fantasy, cloud formations, music, and travel and of course a very well developed imagination. Even the simplest objects looked at from alternative angles can be inspiring. I enjoy painting in different styles and mediums. Experimenting with the various options open to the artist is both challenging and rewarding. Each of my paintings is an individual creation that has a part of me in it, whether it is the colour combination, the style or the subject matter. I do not like repeating any of my work as I feel each piece is unique and they’re for would not capture the essence of the original if duplicated. Painting has given me enjoyment, great satisfaction, and a completely different way of looking at life. All of my acrylic and oil paintings are supplied on their stretcher mounts and are painted on all sides so that they are ready to hang.
