I been painting and drawing since I was in my teens. Nature and animals have always had an appeal for me, starting with horses and growing to include more and more animal and plant species as my awareness increased. I am a largely self-taught painter and like acrylics for their versatility. The fast dry times appeal to my impatient nature and allow me to build my images in transparent layers. I try paint every day. This is as good for my health as it is for my growth as an artist.
