I work in oil and my technique can be described as 'solid tone juxtaposition'. Itâ??s a technique using saturated oils thickly applied to canvas at spots that help accentuate the effect of opposing hues highlighting and amplifying the color ranges used. Inspiration comes from HDR photography which similarly accentuates solid tones bringing hidden emotions into sharper focus.
