Influenced by both my love of cultural history and my faith in God, I strive to capture the essence of whatever I photograph. I want the viewer to feel as if they are part of the landscape they are viewing. This is sometimes revealed through ancient ruins or medieval remains; other times, in the natural beauty of the landscape. Often, my path is directed toward churches and their surrounding landscapes in search of unique and inspirational Christian perspectives and images. I have a great fascination with the historical development of Christianity, particularly cultural illustrations of spiritual symbolism. I hope to include more of these images in the future. I am a self-taught photographer and consider myself to be in a constant state of growth and development. Currently, I am working on a series simply entitled "Reflections" with which I am experimenting with capturing the world as seen from reflective surfaces. I also have a keen interest in monochromatic images and am working on building this collection as well. Alas! This all requires time . . . Do you have some to spare?

What's on my mind...
