Dada and Modernist Art

I suppose I was not a typical teenager. I spent much of my spare time locked away in libaries and modern art museums pouring over as many books as I could find about Dada. I was fascinated by Dada. I was amazed that there was so little mention of Dada, so little acknowledgement of it's huge impact on modern art. I read everything I could about Hugo Ball, Tristan Tzara, Hans Arp, Emmy Hennings, the Cabaret Voltaire, and more. Why has there not been a major film made about these truly remarkable characters?
