2004 A Great Year for Jim Harrison Gallery

The year 2004 was a good year for Jim Harrison and his art. To cap the year we finalized the sale of an original which was priced at $75,000. During the year twenty five giclee prints were produced of that image and almost sold out for $2,500 each.

The second painting for Augusta National was finished and now two Harrison paintings hang in the Clubhouse Library along with two originals by President Dwight Eisenhower. Other commissions consistently surpass the $25,000 price range and work is on the waiting list. A high priority to get originals into permanent coporate collections proved to be successful, and efforts to place paintings in public art museums is ongoing.

The demand for limited edition prints remains very strong and most on the secondary market list increased in value this past year. Two older releases exceed $4,000 in selling prices.

An agreement with South Carolina Parks Recreation and Tourism is in place to produce posters, prints and The Jim Harrison Collection of apparel.

Our enthusiasm is very high and the commitment to protect and increase the value of my art remains solid. To that end, we now throw ourselves into 2005 and a full year of hard work. Best wishes for a great 2005!
