It’s been a while since we contacted our members about the development of the site. There have been a few updates worthy of note. One is that we have updated the audio/video functions to use a newer version of Windows Media Player. Musician pages that list all music now include links to jump straight to songs.

We are also working on a Flash-based media player that will work equally well in all browsers and platforms. (Along that line will be a new WYSIWYG editor for articles--that upgrade is still a few months away.)

We do have to report a broken feature. The Friends system has not been working for a few months. We will bring that feature back next week; the new Friends system will have more enhanced networking tools than the previous version.
