Clark will read a chapter entitled "Their Eyes Were On the Chickadee," from her novel-in-progress, tentatively titled "The Restoration," which is illustrated, like her essay on writing in the issue is also, by 10 of her black & white landscapes.
This issue of the magazine is "spotlighting" Clark and her husband, novelist L.D. Clark, who has also contributed a short story and an essay to the issue, and who will also be appearing on a separate program at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, on the "Langdon Week-end.)
