Get in-depth and personal during this author panel consisting of mystery/thriller writer Michael Johansen and urban literary writer, Rob Payne. The authors will share their publishing secrets, talk about their adventures in researching their novels in Japan, Denmark and Russia, as well as their experiences in working with editors and conducting book promotions
Michael Johansen's mystery thriller, Confession in Moscow, was short listed for the Arthur Ellis Award for best first novel in 2005 and the ForeWord Magazine Books of Year Award in 2004. He has completed his second mystery, Separation Point.
Rob Payne is the author of Live by Request and Working Class Zero. His recent novel, entitled, Sushi Daze, is is a hip, smart, and funny coming-of-age story, that perfectly captures a "Lost in Translation Zeitgeist". His irreverent style is tempered by a talent for recognizing the inner truths that all of us are searching for.
