Make Music New York is NYC's largest music event, with 850 free concerts on streets, sidewalks and parks, all on the first day of summer, with Soundview Park, organized by Lucy Aponte of Living and Learning By the Arts, as one of the venues in the city. Scheduled performers are:
Frankie Coss (percussion, Afro-Cuban, R&B), Randi Niles (Acoustic/Electric guitar melodies and poetically soothing vocals), Imessiah Soul (soulful sounds), PopMaster Fabel Pabon (of Rock Steady Crew, Jam On the Groove),  Shelley Olson [(composer/reader) & Lucy Aponte (poet/reader) perform "Born In The Bronx," poems by Bronx homeless mothers & contemporary Cherokee lullabies], Ms. Sally Connors (actress/singer, sings folk & peace music), Boricua Panthers (Latin Rock guitar/vocals), Americo Casiano (poet/performing artist & NuYorican School Jazz Ensemble), [Red Alert Empire: (Junise: flagship act of RAE), (Vanity: multicultural teen singing sensations), (Pareece: teen singer/songwriter) & (Dennis Diaz:sang background for Alicia Keys)]
